Who is responsible

LRM WIND LTD is the data controller for the personal details sent through this website. Where the company's registered office and company number are published in the footer of this site, they identify the same entity.

This notice covers this website only. It does not cover the contracts the company enters into, which carry their own terms.

What the form collects

The enquiry form asks for the following, and the website collects nothing else about you:

• Your name
• Your company or site name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to give one
• The service you selected
• The site location or turbine model, if you give one
• The message you wrote

Why it is collected

To read your enquiry, to answer it, and to carry out any work that follows from it. Nothing sent through this form is used for marketing, sold, or passed to anyone outside the company.

The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked a business a question and the business needs your details to answer it. Where an enquiry becomes an instruction, the basis for the details needed to carry out that work becomes the contract between us.

Where it is stored

This site has no database and no customer relationship system behind it. A submitted enquiry is written to the hosting provider's server log and read from there. It is also transmitted to the company by email to info@lrmwind.website.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which operates the servers and retains the request logs it needs to run the service. No analytics, advertising, tracking or chat service is used, no cookie is set by this site, and no third-party script runs on any page.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for twelve months and then deleted, so that a returning enquiry can be picked up in context. Enquiries that lead to work are kept with the job record for as long as the company is required to keep its business records.

Speculative job applications are kept for six months unless you ask for them to be removed sooner or agree to them being kept longer.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Ask through the enquiry form, or by email at info@lrmwind.website, and the request will be answered within one month.

If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the supervisory authority for the United Kingdom.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and shows no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to. Fonts are served from this site's own origin, so no request goes to a third party when a page loads.

One exception is local to your browser and never leaves it: if you start an enquiry on the home page, the line you typed is held in the browser's session storage so that the full form can pick it up, and it is removed as soon as it has been read.
